GARRISON — A Garrison man has been arrested and charged with the homicide of 19-year-old Kylie Weitz.
On Wednesday, Aug. 9, at 6:06 p.m. KSP Submit 8 obtained a name from Lewis County Sheriff Johnny Bivens to analyze the matter of an unresponsive feminine at a residence on Willis Lane in Garrison.
In line with different studies, within the preliminary name to 911, the caller stated Weitz had by accident shot herself.
As said within the documentation, Bivens advised KSP officers that the feminine had just lately sustained a gunshot wound to her face.
Upon arrival, the KSP officers said they noticed Weitz laying on the ground of the residence close to the entrance door body.
In line with officers, Lewis County Coroner Tony Gaydos pronounced Weitz lifeless on the scene.
Three hours after the preliminary 911 name was positioned, Damien Hebbeler, 20, was arrested and charged with the homicide of Weitz.
Investigators stated throughout the course of the interview with Hebbeler that he allegedly advised them he had pointed the loaded pistol in Weitz’s face and pulled the set off inflicting the firearm to discharge in her face.
Hebbeler was transported to Greenup County Detention Heart to be lodged by the Lewis County Jail in response to officers.
